Exclusive vehicle watch. Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years
The legend of the 911 Turbo. The thrill of Porsche Design.
The term 'Turbo' has become synonymous with dynamism and sportiness, after the first Porsche Turbo revolutionised the automotive industry with its performance 50 years ago. As a tribute to this groundbreaking 911 derivative, Porsche is launching the 911 Turbo 50 Years special model — which combines outstanding technology, characteristic Turbo performance and a high level of exclusivity with historical details.
To match the vehicle, Porsche Design presents the Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years. The timepiece, which — like the special model — is limited to 1,974 units, forms a dynamic unit with the sports car, combining classic design with modern technology. It is reserved exclusively for future owners of the 911 Turbo 50 Years special model.
Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years
Limited to 1,974 units
Exclusively for owners of the 911 Turbo 50 Years
COSC-certified Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.200 with flyback function
Winding rotor in the look of the 911 Turbo 50 Years wheel with two-tone design
Black leather strap made of Porsche vehicle leather with decorative stitching in Turbonite
On your wrist and on the dashboard.
The new special model includes the Porsche Design Sport Chrono package in the unique 911 Turbo 50 Years Design. The analogue timepiece on the dashboard is nothing less than the spitting image of the Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years – developed exclusively for this special model in close collaboration between Porsche and Porsche Design. The White indices and lettering provide an ideal contrast to the matt Black metal dial with sunburst finish and rings in Turbonite. At 9 o'clock you will find the vehicle lettering in Turbonite and the display of the running seconds in the design of the Turbo wheel blade.
Maximum excitement per second.
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, durable and typically Porsche: the titanium chronograph case consistently continues the lightweight construction concept of the 911 Turbo 50 Years. The vehicle's limited edition number engraved on the case back underlines the inseparable connection with the special model. The elaborately designed product environment in which this extraordinary timepiece is delivered also captivates with a badge including a limited edition number and 911 Turbo 50 Years graphic.
A true Turbo.
The similarities between the Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years and the high-performance special model are also evident on the back of the timepiece: with the winding rotor in the look of the 911 Turbo 50 Years wheel in a two-tone design. The wheel itself is finished in Turbonite, while the spokes are accentuated in Anthracite Grey. The rotor cap with Porsche Crest in Turbonite makes you almost forget the time on the front of the chronograph. Thanks to the Porsche Design chronograph calibre WERK 01.200 with flyback function and COSC certification, every second is displayed with the utmost precision.
A 'sports car for your wrist'.
Every Turbo generation sets the hearts of sports car enthusiasts racing — just as much in 2024 as on the first day. Anyone who owns one of the 1,974 editions of this chronograph will experience the Turbo feeling not only when cornering.
The classic Black leather strap made from original Porsche vehicle leather with decorative stitching in Turbonite allows you to experience the Turbo feeling even off the road. The folding clasp with titanium safety pushers ensures a secure hold on the wrist, while the quick-change mechanism allows for easy strap changes.
Nostalgia in the most exclusive form and colour:
Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail know no bounds: The Heritage Design Package of the 911 Turbo 50 Years brings the aesthetics and spirit of the early years back to life in even more diverse ways. The same applies to the Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years Heritage Design Edition: Phosphorous Green and Gold elements on the dial and the bezel reference the colour of the tachometer and accents such as the “turbo 50” lettering on the rear. The rotor reflects the design of the Sport Classic wheel in the two-tone version in Brilliant Silver and White — including a central lock with the historic Porsche Crest on the rotor cap.
As special as the chronograph itself: the place where it was created.
The Turbo is as much a part of Porsche tradition as the number 911 is to the world of sports cars. Its turbocharger brought turbocharging into the mainstream. An equally important element for the timepieces by Porsche Design is their handcrafted production at the Porsche watchmaking factory in Switzerland. This is where the expertise of sports car designers and watchmakers converge, creating a symbiosis between the two fields while combining high functionality with optimum readability and precision craftsmanship. The Porsche Design chronograph calibre WERK 01.200 with COSC certification, manufactured by experienced masters of their craft, guarantees outstanding precision — just like the Turbo engines of the 911, which enable ambitious drivers to continually test the limits.
