50Y 911 Turbo Sneaker Limited Edition
Porsche 911 Turbo, the One and Always.
This year, Porsche fans all over the world are celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the first 911 Turbo – a model that created history. To mark this special anniversary, Porsche is launching an exclusive Sneaker Limited Edition consisting of 12 strictly limited sneakers in cooperation with Puma.
50 Years 911 Turbo, Trainers, Limited Edition, Canada, Guards Red
First Canadian PEC opening in spring 2024: “Sonderwunsch Inspiration Car” has been commissioned to commemorate this achievement. Inspiration for the car and the sneaker colours was the Canadian flag. The black accents of the shoe also tie directly into the PEC Toronto Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992). Available online and in selected local Porsche Centres exclusively in Canada.
50 Years of Superlatives.
As the highlight of the 50Y 911 Turbo collection, the trainers pay homage to the very first Porsche 911 Turbo in a unique way: in partnership with Puma, 12 exclusive and limited-edition trainers are being released. The sneakers are marked by a subtle Porsche logo and dynamic vintage Turbo lettering on the exterior, defining their look. The Porsche logo is a central element of all the trainers. Connoisseurs will spot the 'whale tail' of the rear spoiler and the horizontal red tail light on the rear bezel. Precisely 911 pairs are available of each model; and the launch takes place exactly 50 years after Louise Piëch received the Turbo No. 1: on her birthday, 29 August 2024. A defining date for a sports car that made history.
Sneakers – inspired by the first generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo.
The Turbo concept has always been synonymous with a multitude of superlatives. Turbo means breathtaking acceleration, unparalleled intensity and incredible thrills – all built around a unique design. The flat engine, the powerfully designed rear and the unmistakable wings. Porsche 911 Turbo, the one and always.
