« Design must be functional and functionality must be visually translated into aesthetics [...] »

Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche The design philosophy of Porsche Design, shaped by the visionary founder Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, has always set standards in form and function. With the first pair of sunglasses with interchangeable lenses in 1978, the P'8478, Porsche Design ushered in an era of innovation and style-defining aesthetics. This heritage lives on in every frame, which convinces not only with its technological superiority, but also with its purist design.

Technical sophistication meets unique designs

The Absorber series combines unique design – by converting the properties of a Porsche vehicle shock absorber into a hinge – with maximum wearing comfort.  Sporty design underlines the motorsport character, and the 100% titanium fronts and adjustable temples made of high-performance RXP go together perfectly. Technical sophistication and unparalleled style – the Absorber series sets new standards.

An interplay of light and shadow

Sculptural design inspired by the limited edition Iconic Machined: futuristic designs, clean lines, sharp geometries and the recessed aluminium plate in the bridge characterise the progressive Machined series and give it a technical-futuristic look. The striking 3D temple design creates a unique play of light and shadow. Ultra-light thanks to high-performance polyamide RXP® and striking with its unique colour combinations. A statement in technology and style.

Passion and performance: Hexagon series

Inspired by the hexagonal bolts in the Porsche 911 engine block, the series embodies passion, performance and motorsports. The 100 percent titanium front emphasises the central element: four individually hand-screwed hexagonal screws give the frames stability and underline the precision of the manufacturing process. The purist design embodies the perfect symbiosis of performance and functionality.
