Product details
The high-quality detailed collector's model of the Porsche 956 is a real eye-catcher on your shelf or on your desk. The included gift packaging makes it ideal as a small but impressive token or gift.
For the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Group C World Championship in 1982, Porsche developed the 956. The debut at Le Mans ended in a triple victory as works driver Jacky Ickx won the sports car world championship.
Another 956 was built for the second season in 1983. This was a successful racing car with chassis number 956005, taking several second places as well as winning the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and the 1,000 kilometres of Spa.
The 956 and its successor, the 962 C, dominated long-distance racing until the end of the 1980s.
