In 2012 only 12 Club members worldwide had the opportunity to acquire the exclusive 911 Club Coupe honouring the first Porsche Clubs. Over the years the group has grown into an enthusiast community founding the 911 Club Coupe registry. Mutual friendship and strong fascination for the outstanding sports car are the bonds creating a unique spirit. Based on this common understanding, the idea of extending sportscar ownership experience to the wrist by creating a dedicated Chronograph matching with the car’s key features was born in 2017. Porsche Design, founded back in 1972 by Prof. F.A. Porsche, the legendary designer of the 911, and its exclusive engineering and production site, Porsche Design Timepieces AG in Solothurn, Switzerland, accepted the challenge to create a highly exclusive small series Chronograph to fulfill the Club members’ request.
