The Porsche 956 was a Sports Car prototype that won all of the FIA Sports Car world championship titles from 1982 to 1984, both in the rankings for drivers and makes. The Porsche 956 dominated the Group C races from mid 1982 to 1985, when the Joest 956 won at Le Mans once more.
