As our shipments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste; you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Waste batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if stored or disposed of improperly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled. After use, you can either return the batteries to us or hand them in free of charge in your immediate vicinity (e.g. in shops, at municipal collection points or at our dispatch warehouse). Return at points of sale is limited to the quantity customary for end users and to such waste batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its range. The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that you must not dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries with household waste.
