Only those who make an impact leave their mark: Almost no other sports car has had such a lasting impact on the world of cars as the Porsche 911. For 60 years, it has been combining tradition and innovation, sportiness and elegance. To commemorate the anniversary of the sports car legend, Porsche is presenting the limited edition Porsche 911 S/T, which has a distinct focus on purity and driving pleasure. The naming is reminiscent of the 911 S, which Porsche started offering in 1969 with a special competition design and was known internally as the '911 ST'. Just like the new anniversary vehicle, the two trainer models in the 60Y 911 Collection pay homage to the legendary 911 series – from its beginnings to the present day. The design and colour of the iconic retro trainers are inspired by the historic 911 S 2.5 from 1972. The trainers' surface is reminiscent of the Light Blue exterior and the Red decorative stitching of the Red stripes, and the vehicle's starting number 56 is also commemorated on the trainers. The Black lining is based on the interior of the vehicle. The 60Y 911 anniversary logo adorns the leather tag and woven label with retro grill badge design on the trainers' tongue. The shoe can take on a whole new look in no time with the second pair of shoelaces. Inspired by the year that the historic 911 first appeared, the trainers are limited to 1,972 individually numbered pairs.
