Compatibility also extends to any third-party electric vehicle that complies with general EV charging standards and features a Type 2 inlet.

No. The Porsche Wallbox is a fixed installation product that must be installed and commissioned by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Porsche offers a recommended home installation service that manages the electrical supply check, mounting, wiring, and My Porsche app configuration in a single visit.

Connect the Wallbox to your home network via 2.4 or 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi, Ethernet (RJ45), or its integrated LTE SIM. Data connectivity is included in the product price, with no separate contract required. Once linked to your My Porsche account, start and stop charging remotely, manage authorised users, review charging history, and receive over-the-air software updates directly from the app.

The delivery contains the Wallbox unit (housing, housing cover, design frame, design front, and integrated 7-metre Type 2 vehicle cable), a mounting plate, a drilling template, a user seal, and a document folder holding the operating and installation instructions, your personal access data letter, the onboarding guide, and the installation services brochure.
