50 years of engineered passion: Since 1972, Porsche Design has been writing design history with products that perfectly combine technology, passion and performance. The limited 50Y Porsche Design Capsule Collection is an homage to this unmistakable design DNA. Take, for instance, the Porsche Design 50Y Backpack. The design of the medium-sized leather backpack is inspired by the design of Porsche vehicle seats; the padded handle with moccasin stitching typical of steering wheels reflects the Targa rollover bar. Black, fine-grain leather emphasizes the clean, spectacular lines. Even the back of the pack with its trolley link references Porsche motorsport history: it is upholstered with original Porsche upholstery fabric, the pattern of which picks up on the legendary, checkered motorsports flag. A 50Y plaque in Titanium Gray references the limited edition. In the separately accessible rear compartment of the business backpack, laptops up to 14" can be securely stowed in a padded compartment; the large main compartment with business organizer is conveniently accessible via a two-way zipper.
