Classic enamel sign – ‘Sport der Persönlichkeit’

Graphic designer Hanns Lohrer produced a whole series of advertisements in the early 1960s showing colourful images of the Porsche 356 together with sporting symbols of that era. Iconic advertisements themed around sports including golf, skiing, hunting and horse-riding displayed slogans such as ‘Sport der Persönlichkeit‘ (Sport of personality) or ‘Fahren in seiner schönsten Form’ (Driving in its purest form), highlighting the brand values of sportiness alongside day-to-day usability.
