In 1994 the Porsche 993 Cup celebrated its debut in the Porsche Supercup. In the following year, it was also able to compete for the title in the Carrera Cup. The production figure for the 993 Cup was a total of 216 units worldwide, 147 with 310 hp (1994-1995) and 69 with 315 hp (1996-1997).
