Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche applied the principles of the 911 to the Chronograph I – pure, functional, and reduced to the essentials. Today, Porsche’s own Swiss-based manufacture creates timepieces that carry this technical philosophy forward with uncompromising precision.
Since 2014, Porsche has been the world’s only automotive brand to produce mechanical watches in-house in Switzerland. With the new facility in Grenchen, development and production have reached a new level: a watchmaking manufacture operating under Porsche’s production principles, crafting timepieces whose technical character and materials are directly derived from sports car DNA.

Engineered following motorsport principles: robust components, efficient mechanics and processes, and materials designed for lasting performance.

Assembly and fine adjustment are performed by hand. Every component is inspected and calibrated before a timepiece leaves the manufacture.

Every Porsche Design movement is COSC-certified as a chronometer – a mark of exceptional precision and reliability.

Authentic automotive materials such as leather, thread, color rings, along with wheel-inspired rotor designs, transfer the essence of the sports car.

Form follows function: minimalist design, clear legibility, and a direct lineage to the 911 define every timepiece.

Many models are released in limited editions, distinguished by unique designs or special occasions. Their rarity enhances exclusivity.

Titanium has shaped the identity of Porsche Design Timepieces for years – a motorsport-derived material created for lightness and durability.
In 2022, the next milestone followed: the first case made entirely from titanium carbide. Even lighter, extremely scratch-resistant, and an expression of the ambition to keep pushing boundaries.

F. A. Porsche translated the glare-free logic of the 911 cockpit to the chronograph — matte, high-contrast, and low-reflection, ensuring perfect clarity even under dynamic conditions. This principle continues to define the legibility of today’s timepieces.

Water Resistance
Dynamic water resistance up to 10 bar ensures the watch remains reliably protected against water intrusion, even with the crown pulled out.
Glass
Optimal legibility thanks to a seven-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal with hard coating – inspired by the low-reflection displays of Porsche cockpits.
Precision in Seconds
The quick-set date mechanism of the Porsche Design movement enables instant date adjustment – intelligent, efficient, and reliable, in true German engineering tradition.

This as well: Sports car and watch specialists work together on the development of the Porsche Design calibers. The mechanical movements are produced using modern manufacturing processes, individually tested, and then assembled by hand. Every construction is engineered for precision, durability, and the specific demands of its respective case.
The movement family includes calibers with different functional architectures — from chronographs to UTC movements. All Porsche Design calibers are COSC-certified chronometers and meet the highest standards of precision and measurement stability.

The 01.100 and 01.140 chronograph caliber form the foundation of Porsche Design’s classic timekeeping. They control start, stop, and reset operations in precisely defined sequences and are used in models where the accurate measurement of individual time intervals is paramount.
01.100 – Chronograph Caliber A classic chronograph caliber with precise, highly legible time measurement. - Power reserve: 48 hours - Mechanical chronograph with start, stop, and reset functions - Integrated date display
01.140 – Chronograph Caliber with Day-Date A chronograph caliber featuring an expanded calendar function. - Power reserve: 48 hours - Quick-jumping day-date mechanism - Bilingual day and date display

The 01.200 and 01.240 flyback calibers expand traditional chronograph mechanics with an integrated flyback function. This feature allows a running timing sequence to be restarted without stopping first — a clear advantage for interval and lap-time measurements.
01.200 – Chronograph Flyback A flyback chronograph caliber designed for seamless interval timing. - Power reserve: 48 hours - Flyback function for instantaneous restart - Integrated date display
01.240 – Chronograph Day-Date Flyback A flyback chronograph caliber with an integrated day-date display. - Power reserve: 48 hours - Flyback function - Quick-jumping day-date mechanism - Bilingual day and date display

The 03.200 sub-second caliber brings the signature display of the Porsche Sport Chrono Package to the wrist: a large main dial complemented by a small seconds at 6 o’clock. This layout ensures a clear and focused presentation of the time. - Power reserve: 48 hours - Integrated date display

The 04.110 UTC caliber translates the logic of the Porsche dual-clutch transmission into a clear time zone mechanism: the date is indicated by a hand, and the second time zone can be set in precise hourly increments.
- Power reserve: 38 hours - Displays Home Time and Local Time - Time zone adjustment in 1-hour increments - Day/Night indicator - Hours, minutes, seconds, and 24-hour display
