Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition with leather strap

Two icons. One designer: Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche revolutionised the world of sports cars with his first masterpiece, the Porsche 911, defined by its iconic flyline. In 1972, he applied his purist design philosophy to a second masterpiece: the Chronograph I, which made history as the first entirely Black timepiece. The Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition is made from ultra-lightweight, durable titanium. It combines classic design with modern technology, resolutely bringing motorsport DNA into the present.With its leather strap made from original Porsche vehicle leather and Guards Red thread, the timepiece takes on a new form of expression that remains consistent with the sports car. Handcrafted and finished with a titanium folding clasp in Black titanium carbide coating, it combines the natural feel of leather with the precise design language of the timepiece, reinforcing the close connection to the interior of the 911 down to the smallest detail. Thanks to Porsche Design's specific quick-change mechanism, the strap can be effortlessly changed without tools, allowing for greater individual freedom of expression.Handcrafted by master craftsmen at the new Porsche watch workshop in Grenchen, Switzerland.
